Where do we go for our fishing trip?
The majority of trips take place in the north western part of the Wisconsin driftless region. We fish streams in and around the River Falls, Ellsworth, El Paso, and Prescott area. Most locations are within 60 to 90 minutes of the Twin Cities metro area.

Do you provide waders, boots, fly rods, flies...?
Yes, all necessary gear, flies, and tackle are provided.

How many fish am I going to catch on my fly fishing trip?
Catching fish is never guaranteed. The number of fish landed varies with conditions and angler ability. We do our very best to put you on as many trout as possible on every trip.

I’m a beginner—is that okay?
We guide anglers of every ability and age level. Beginners are welcome! We are adept at teaching novices how to fly fish.

Are there any age restrictions?
There are no specific age restrictions. Every child is an individual case. Most kids are ready to learn between 8 and 10 years old.

Do I need a fishing license? Where do I get a fishing license?
Yes, a Wisconsin fishing license is required along with an in land trout stamp. License must be purchased in advance of trip and can be purchased here.

Do we fish in in all weather conditions?
We fish in almost all conditions. Some of the best days on the water are overcast and rainy. In the event of extreme weather, your trip will be cancelled and you’ll be notified the day before. Should this occur, your deposit will be fully refunded.

What should I bring?
While we provide almost everything you’ll need to have a wonderful day on the river, there are a few suggested items you’ll need to provide for yourself: Sunscreen, Bug Spray, Hat, Comfortable weather appropriate clothes, Socks and light pants for under waders.
